Tanner Prairie began training Jiu Jitsu in 2017 and quickly fell in love with the lifestyle and the mental and physical challenges it brings. For him, every day is a chance to grow—on and off the mat. He believes that striving to improve just 1% each day leads to meaningful progress over time.

Tanner emphasizes technique and flow over strength, encouraging creativity within the core fundamentals. His teaching style helps students find their own rhythm while building a strong foundation.

Above all, Tanner believes Jiu Jitsu should be fun and a way to push yourself to become the best version of who you are. The practice teaches humility and the importance of letting go of ego.

He trained for many years in both gi and no-gi Jiu Jitsu under Nick Bohli and now shares that knowledge, tailoring his approach to fit each student’s unique needs and abilities.
